Thanks to Kimo for doing the leg work in finding these and testing to see that they work. Here's the info from his build thread.

I got mine the other day, and will have to wait to install them until I get all my other car BS sorted out. However, here's some pics of the bushings. Allso, for what ever reason, the color purple does NOT show up correctly with the digital camera. Kimo had the same issue. I tried playing with the white balance, but it didn't help.

I'll update the pictures when I do the install.

Re: Powerflex Rear Diff Carrier Bushings
I checked with Dale at Boxer4Racing and he can get these Powerflex bushings. They are not listed on his site, so you'll need to call to place the order. The correct part # is PFR69-123. Here's the link directly the Powerflex's website for more info.
http://www.powerflex.co.uk/product-deta ... /1817.html
The lead time once the order is placed is 3 to 4 weeks. The bushing kit is $65.99 plus shipping costs inside the US.
So if you have a little more time and want these bushings, this option will save you a little bit of money.

Re: Powerflex Rear Diff Carrier Bushings
Finally got these things installed!! It's been over a year since I bought these....wow!
Anyway, updated the pictures to include the install.
http://main.experiencetherave.com/subar ... fbushings/
I ended up using a hack saw to cut out the rubber bushing part and then tediously worked at cutting away at the metal collar. I did this in combination with a chisel to start peeling back the metal collar. it was a bit slow process, but I chose this option so I didn't cut into the diff carrier.
Getting the carrier plate out is kind of a pain in the butt because those two studs on the rear diff stick out and you essentially have to almost lower the diff to get the carrier plate out. Anyway, when I jacked the car up via the rear diff I did not really notice the diff sag and lift like the old bushings did.
We'll see if I notice any more noise and vibration once I get the car back on the road.

Re: Powerflex Rear Diff Carrier Bushings
Mine was super easy. Just get a hack saw and remove the blade. Then insert tye blade through the bushing and reattatcu to the hack saw and saw right through the rubber and through the metal outer ring of the bushing. Do this in two spots about a centimeter apart and remove the resulting section of metal. Then just beat it out with a punch and hammer.

Don't worry if you accidently cut into the brace itself, not a big deal. Grease the bushings before installing to prevent noise.

Re: Powerflex Rear Diff Carrier Bushings
I didn't see this on Boxer4racing's site, but Powerflex has a US site with the part selling for $65:

Just as an FYI for others, you need to make sure you choose the correct item 11, which is the UK WRX & Early RA Models.mike-tracy wrote:I didn't see this on Boxer4racing's site, but Powerflex has a US site with the part selling for $65:
