MAF QUESTION
So guys i cant be be only one to think of this but is it possible to swap phase 2 denso maf sensor onto the 22t.
Re: MAF QUESTION
Not easily.
The ECU is calibrated for a particular sensors response curve. It's not as simple as matching a voltage range.

Re: MAF QUESTION
Well I need a tune anyway think I could install a sensor maf and have it tuned
Re: MAF QUESTION
Depends on what ECU you have. There are no easy solutions for the factory ECU.
A programmable ECU meant for a '92-'96 WRX is the 'least hassle' solution.
A RobTune on a '92-'96 WRX ECU is the commonly accepted 'middle ground' here, but that uses the JECS MAF, not the Denso.

Re: MAF QUESTION
well im going to have to use standalone im thinking aem ems4 and would the hassle be worth it or should i consider speed density? i
Re: MAF QUESTION
speed density if you are going with a aem unit. thats what i would do anyway...
