Knock sensor

Post by tinyturbo10 »

I've had to replace my knock sensor a couple times recently and the last time I did the code wouldn't go away. I'm almost positive it's because the wire itself is so corroded and been connected with crimp connectors so many times it's causing the code to flash. I want to rewire the whole thing back to the ecu, but instead of having to trace it back through all the looms I was wondering if anyone knows exactly what pin on the ecu it is. That way I can just rewire it through the firewall and not have to deal with tracing it back and opening up all the looms to do so.

HI,
Do a search on here for the legacy ECU pinout and you'll find this: http://www.surrealmirage.com/vrg3/ecupins/

You can use microphone wire, which worked for me also.
