I'm liking the gauges, but reverse 'em. It may "flow" better with the shape of the vent cutout. Just my two cents.

Man, you got an eye for detail. lol. I would love to do it, its just that the left gauge is maxed out wiring wise. Cant stretch it any more to make it to the other side.

Every time you update this thread your car looks better. I can't even keep up anymore. Those door handles are in dire need of some paint. :) Do my eyes deceive me or did you ditch those hideous legacy badges on the side under the window? If so, how did you do it because I want mine gone too.

Oh and a new Nardi wheel to match my seats. Probably gonna redo my brembos in red, to match the seats and wheel, haha.

Your eyes deceive you. However, there is a plan, along with the handles. Trust me, the stick out like a sore thumb to me too, haha. I'm gonna have a buddy paint my roof black, and gonna do my chrome trim that is left at the same time also. Probably in the next month or two. Waiting for the stupid weather to get better.
Oh look, post #800. Now i cant type anything anymore. Its a nice even number. Looks G :D :D D

OMG that wheel is gorgeous! I want one super bad. I happened to glance in my window the other day while I was working on the metro and noticed the subaru steering wheel appears to have gotten moldy and the leather looks like it's expanded! Looks like ass and I bet it feels like shit too.

Those Nardi wheels are spendy aren't they? How much does that one cost?

Got it for a smashing deal haha. Like $150 new. I wasn't gonna ask many questions. It feels so nice in my hands. Its smaller too, gives the car a go-kart feel.

And the hub adapter was an ebay special for like $15. Its kinda cheap, but I'm keeping an eye out for an NRG Quick release.

Yup wrap is like $25 I think and easy. I don't know any painters and don't want to pay a ton to have it painted. Too bad I can't vinyl the door handles.

I gotta say, following you're build is really motivating. After seeing the projector retrofit pictures I'm more than motivated and ready to retrofit my car but maybe as a dual beam set-up. I'm loving the stance and tint too, looks really sweet.

I can't tell if your car is lower than mine or if it just has less wheel gap because you have huge wheels and tires? Or are your tires close to stock diameter? Either way I frequently think about lowering mine back down all the way haha. I just like the way it looks so much better that way. Now it looks like it's not lowered at all, at least to me.

Thanks Danny.
Kimo, I'm rocking 225/45/17. I want to go even lower but first I gotta do something about those splash guards.

Wow you must be an inch lower than me than because I have the same size tires. I was thinking you had 18" wheels for some reason.

Hey florin, do your tires rub? I just dropped my car back down another inch or so and it's rubbing a little on the fronts. I think the rears are fine but I haven't really checked it out yet. I know it's LOW though. :)

Did you roll your fenders? I had mine rolled but I might need to roll them some more myself. Plus the liner is hitting the tire now too.

Yup a little rub. I dont care. I beat the little metal tab that it rubbed on, and cut the splash guard a little too. Now it only rubs a little on harder corners. Nothing bad. And yeah i do my own fender rolling... lol

Only reason I paid those jerks to roll my fenders was because I assumed, since they had an amazing shop, that they would use a fender roller. They didn't. They just beat the shit out of the fenders with a hammer. Really pissed me off. I could have done that myself for about $100 less.

Time for an update.
Car was running well until I blew the transmission a few weeks ago. Like so.

So i bought this. (04 Impreza TS)

And did this to it. (RWD Conversion)

Also installed a new ACT street clutch, and extra-s gear oil. Old ACT clutch was a 4 puck, which had lots of chatter, and only lasted 5,000 miles!! I was not happy. We'll see how long this full organic disk act will last. This might be the last act product i ever buy if it fails that quick.
