-So today I did some more, pretty much, free work. I cleaned up my brakes, rotors and did some painting.

-I picked up a used MRT 3" cat-back exhaust system for a decent price. Even though I never got in trouble for it, I thought my old system way a little to loud for my taste, especially on long distance trips. Here is a video I slapped together real quick today:

-I've pulled apart the top end of the motor in attempt to clean it up a bit... hide breather lines and other stuff under the manifold if possible. Here are a few shots of it so far.

-Last night after getting the manifold off:

-Intake before:

-Intake with primer:

-Still have a ways to go. Got a few parts to replace, paint, clean, etc. I was thinking of getting rid of the metal fuel lines and going with something like the fake rubber steel-braided lines or something.

-If anyone has any ideas with what I'm doing, I'm open to any ideas!

The downside to the rubber lines is that they will typically take up more room than the metal lines, because the engine bay is already cramped, I prefer the metal ones.

^ That's fine with me as I have only folded down the seats for more bass and one time a few weeks ago to carry my recently purchased mrt exhaust, in the whole time I've owned my legacy. I'll sacrifice that for a matching set of seats!

Are you running a small gauge ground wire than our power wire on that amp?

-To that amp, the ground wire is that little black wire you can barely see. I have 4 gauge power wire from the battery to a splitter, then 8 gauge to that amp in the pic, then to the back to a capacitor then the amp that powers a sub. The rear amp has 8 gauge ground also.
-Not sure what you meant by your question, is this bad?

I was just wondering if your ground is at least the same gauge or larger than your power wire because it looks smaller.

-I have plenty of extra wire laying around. I could upgrade it to 8 gauge if it would make a difference.

It's a fire hazard if you don't. Never use smaller wire for grounds than your power. The amperage that the power wire can handle is more than the ground can handle and it could melt the jacket and start a fire if the amps internal fuses don't fail in time.

-Being a carpet cleaner has its advantages but sometime you can always do so much. I came up on some STi floor mats, cleaned them and put them in the car:

-Fitment is pretty good and I think they match with the seats, plus it beats what I had in there before.
