Well, it's certainly a bit different to a MY00 Impreza Sport 2.0 16V AWD but it drives well and is still a youngster at just 118,881 miles
Service history is patchy but that is to be expected of a car which cost just £250 All the electrics work, including the radio which was a pleasant bonus!

That's approximately $450, IIRC. And that is an excellent $450 car!!
Congrats!

The engine bay (along with the rest of the car ) needs a thorough cleaning but I'll be taking some before and after pictures to post up in the members gallery

Nice buy! Where on earth did you get such a good car for such a low price?
I quite like the sedan/saloon shape. What are your plans? Alloy wheels?

I bought the same model on a 1990 plate a few weeks back for £450
It`s a lovely motor with full service history, full MOT and 6 months TAX, 112,382 miles, everything working and an interior that looks as if it`s never been sat in. It even has an unused original spare wheel and complete toolkit in the boot.
No pics yet but will have some soon.
£250 is a cracking buy for such a clean looking car

Yours sounds like an even better steal...looking forward to some pictures
Seeing how there are three of us from blighty on this post, is there any chance of organising some kind of meet in the future?
