FS: '91 5 spd SS for swap

Post by Legacy294 »

For Sale:

1991 Legacy Turbo Sport Sedan, 5 spd, 2.2L Turbo, full power, ac, cruise, sunroof, alloys, 180k, NW car, no rust. Hit in the rear, but drives. salvage title.

This car has everything you'll need for a turbo swap, complete engine, ecu,
all wiring, turbo crossmember, driveline, axles, brakes, rear LSD, clean hood, fenders, front bumper, headlights.. all of it. The car isn't worth fixing, but it would be a good car for someone looking to do a swap into a straight shell..(Matt #1?)

at any rate, $1300 will take it. Usually a good 2.2T is at least $750, and the tranny $500, wiring harness?..another $50 and you've got it all..

too many projects at the moment to use it anytime soon..

Post, pm or email me with any inquiries or serious offers.
Thanks.

Barrett...

We are considering this as an option for the RS swap...big question would it make it back to Salem, or is it too crunched (i.e. no taillights)

Lemme know :D

Well, knowing what kind of driver you are, you could drive it..

not highly recommended though, even for the brave..

no taillights and a slightly gaping trunk are the two main concerns.. :D

You could always temporarily wire in tail lights ( like get a cheap set from Napa) And then drive it. If the drivetrain is still good- that would be the way to go.

Can you put up some pics of the rear?

Does it rub at all? i guess thats what i'm really asking, cause if it dosn't rub, i'd be ok with wiring in some lights once i get there and driving it like that back up.

OK, thanks, i'm not so much worried about the back end, more so the wheel well, when you're taking pictures.

I got a sledge hammer, you think i could beat out the parts that are rubbing? It would be easier to justify 1300$ if i didn't have to get a flatbed to get it home.

I'm still interested, but with gas prices creeping up i can only really justify spending 1000 on it with what it will cost to get down there and back.

If thats cool, i can paypal a deposit and be down there some time sunday morning, or late saturday night.
