I forgot to put a bumpstop on one of the struts and I had already taken back the spring compressors to schucks so I got inventive.

I broke a bunch of them in the process, I do not recommend unless totally necessary.

And this is what riding the bumpstops looks like. I took the spring off the strut and lowered it down, the wood is there because other wise my jack would be caught under the diff.

yeah but they are hashed, one has lost its gas charge, and another had to be replaced by a stock RS unit due to offroad circumstances.

Wow. That's so dangerous.

My friend was replacing struts on a honda and his spring compressor blew apart and broke his thumb. I've got lowering springs now, so no compressor is necessary on the legacy :-) .
