Am I crazy, stupid or just a snob?

Struts, spring, anti-rollbars, braces and the like.

I found these for a good price awhile back.

Image
'02 USDM WRX Wagon struts, springs. Pic is just one strut, but I have all 4 w/springs and hats.

A while later I saw and snagged these on Ebay.

KYB Special Rally Struts and unkown, but looks to be stiff springs. Fully assembled, just as they came off a imported BC5. The same car the skidplates came from.

Well, I just was able to score these for a price I couldn't pass up.

JDM STI V7 wagon inverted struts and springs. Again still fully assembled and a matched set from an imported car. 15K verified miles AFTER the original import miles.

I feel like a suspension whore. Hopefully I get motivated to finish the EJ20G and auto>manual wiring and try these out soon.

The cool part is you can test out all three, and see which you like for different applications other than daily and then swap 'em out when you feel the need.

Or you could just sell 'em. *shrug*

Yes, this indeed makes you a suspension whore...

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the STi ver. 7 setup?

I know how it goes, before you get something installed something better/different comes up... I now have 3 pairs of DOHC heads. :?

I paid $360 for the GGB STI setup.

Because it is a matched set, never disassembled, complete w/tops, verifiable milage, trustworthy seller and, most importatly, from a wagon I find the price to be extremly reasonable.

Got them off Nasioc, Socal classifieds. I've tried to get some STI wagon struts before, but they are pretty rare and I always seem to PM too slowly. I feel really lucky I got these, and the condition is really awesome.

Good find on the KYB Super Specials. I'd like to find some myself.

I find I do the same with my Nissan.
I had stack struts with Eibach Sports.
Then I acquired AGXs with Eibach Pro
I am currently wearing Buddy Club Spec II coilovers.
Plus I have a stock set-up hanging around and some Tein springs to boot.
