I thought the crankshaft pulley only went on one way?

I just put it on, torqued it and thought i was good.

I know i did a hack job of converting the tps to the 2.5 one but im going to use a 2.2 one and do it right, ive talked to a few people and even with a bad TPS it still should start could it not be starting because my lack of an IACV with a bad TPS?

The crankshaft pulley only goes on one way. But there are two marks on the pulley. One is for TDC and the other is the timing mark. make sure you have the right one lined up. When my tps had a few broken wires, it still started up. It just bogged when you gave it throttle.

Alright

So sodered in Pick-N-pull EJ22 Throttle Body (Sodered TPS wires and attatched throttle body)

Charged battery.

Try to start it one loud bang of a backfire and then nothing but slow cranking.

I plug in the black test mode connector and turn the key to ON.

Instead of getting a series of code the CEL just blinks and blinks dosent stop repeat or do anything that Legacy777's site says, just blinks. What does that mean?
