Now that the car is moving under its own power , i discovered this mess after the motor swap ; it now has a new axle and AWD again ,



- since the car was stationary without a motor and the brakes seized from not moving it , i had to haul the car whenever it needed to be moved around the yard , i m assuming this is the result of pulling an AWD car with seized brakes

getting ready to split the case tomorrow - this thing bent so-much i wasn't able to tapout the wristpins
the bend is so severe it restricted the piston from bottoming out so i had to remove it first
serious warp in the rod , the sound from the EJ22T Suicide was MASSIVE rod knock
tomorrow i will actually pull the case apart and see whats in there
i ve already found som large pieces of pison in random places

Jeez. Looks like the steering knuckle on my toyota pickup when I crashed it into a parked integra. Bent a solid 1.25" thick steel 90*.

it spun a bearing and began a reaal bad knock, i imagine at high rpm
i thought it was HLAs to begin
i guess nott !

it was just oil starved ..

i m still looking for the oil squirters ..

I accounted for all squirters but one , it possibly got crushed in the # 2 cylinder

After spraywashing the case halfs with oven cleaner i ve come out with this, there is no other damage next to the rod smacking the inside of the case between the number 1 and 3 cyl

it s not too badd and should be no problem for the new engine
the real damage is at the head and of course in the cylinder wall which are both being replaced

the EJ25D in the car now is getting stripped for the heads to add to the 22T block and also the crank will be used as well, so long as it's not damaged from its recent overheating episode

Always wondered how my Forester S wheels would look on my SS. Not bad.
