This be a review of the Garrett GT2860RS turbo.

I have been looking for like 4 years for my car and could not pick one.
I was thinking about a TD04? Nah...tooo small
I had a VF39! was a nice turbo for sure BUT when it blows up....You are screwed!

So it lead me to the apt turbo website.
http://www.atpturbo.com/

Great little webpage! They were quick enough shipping for me. Aswell the prices where not too bad.

Now for my opinion of the Garrett GT2860RS

For starters here in the mod list:
TBE
AWIC
Coffee cup
AEM FIC

The turbo has very close stats to a td05 turbo tho i dont think it has the total output.
It claims to make only 360hp tho i think it could get closers to 380-400 verying in tune.

Asfor how it performs in the car... Beautiful!!!
I love it!!

The power is just unreal on stock tune and NO more than stock boost!
It comes alive around 2500rpm and gets more alive around 3000rpm
Once over 3200-3300rpm she screams!

My car is an auto... yes auto. But when it hits full boost "cough" 8 psi the front tires will chirp!
There has been many many times when im going 60km,lane change hit some dirt/ sandy stuff and the tire breaks loose!

So in the end if you have the $$$ to buy a garrett turbo. Just buy it! You will love it. I love mine.

Thanks Legacy Central!

Tom.

You ask you will receive! I will try to get some better pics of the actual turbo.

It is very VERY tight to the manifold and bell housing. In the stock location you can stick in a GT30 i think. You would just have to grind some metal off the bell housing for it to work.

I tried SUPER dam hard to try to make my under hood look as stock as humanly possiable. I think i did just that.

I am very impressed at how well everything fits. It looks made for the car. I think I would take that bracket off the throttle body that's for the engine cover.

You ask and you will receive!

That bracket i actually can still use. I just need to nibble the plastic cover a little bit on the skirt. That would complete the stock look.

The AWIC i found at:
http://www.frozenboost.com/product_info ... d4eef294d1

I ordered a type 13 kits for 300hp.
Though i think im going to add another aux rad for even more cooling! LOL

And thanks for the complements on the install. I love having a stock looking car! No one know what hit them when they lose to it! LOL
