I'm not talking about the car running properly after the swap (sadly), I mean that the CEL appears completely inoperable. It doesn't come on when you turn the key to run, which I'm pretty certain it's supposed to do so you know it's working.
Obviously could just be the bulb. I will check that tomorrow. CEL bulbs almost never go out, even on a 20 year old car.... hm...
But I also wanted to know if anyone knew of anything ECU-related that may cause it not to work. Anyone know which wire it is from the ECU?
