Hey I am new to this whole forum thing but I need some help deciding on spring I really want to lower my 2001 legacy but there is not a whole lot of people that sell lowering spring or at leased I haven't found a whole lot, but does anyone know what springs or suspension is compatible with my car? Such as a wrx suspension or a newer legacy? Thanks for all the help!!

Welcome to the BBS.
I believe starting in 2000 the Legacy had a different rear suspension setup (multi-link vs. strut) so swapping springs from a WRX or similar probably won't work. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
You may also want to ask your question on the Legacy International forum as there's more newer Legacy owners there.

H&R makes springs for the 00-04, and that is about it specifically for them. But most parts from the 05-09 will fit and there are a few more options for those, including bilstein struts and some coilovers.
I was also just going over the coilover options for someone for this car, the best cheap one is probably the tein street basis plus some new top mounts, that combo is well under 1000. Then there are more expensive options from KW and RCE that are closer to 2k.
