Wanted to see if anyone is interested in the trans from the wife's '90 Legacy AWD,

It's the 4EAT, worked good, except when sitting at idle in gear it seems like it partially disengages. AWD worked right, and the diff is good. Would be a rebuilder, or parts? Has convertor, stub shafts, harness's, etc. Complete take out.

Fluid was red and clear, not burnt, was 184K miles when I installed it this spring. Is already out and available, but would like it out of my way soon!


FREE, may even be able to meet or deliver in the Tacoma area for a couple of bucks to cover time and fuel.

Will hang onto it until first of the week, if no one wants it by then will dump it at the wrecking yard...

BTW, wife drove it this way for several months, actually picked up a little over a 1 mpg.. guessing less engine load in traffic.. was totally drivable, just had to give a little throttle and it hooked right up.

okay, closing the post. it's headed to the scrap heap today... hoped someone could use parts...
