Another stupid question. On my 91tleg I have 98 outback wagon struts on it. Do you think I could fit 215/75/15 tires on it with out cutting anything. It looks like I have enough space between the strut spring perch.

Unless someone has direct experience on that size and setup my best suggestion would be to find the dimensions of your current tire brand/model online and then compare that to the 215/75/15 size and see if you have clearance.
For example, if the 215/75/15 adds 1" to the overall height see if you have 0.5" of vertical clearance between your current tire. Do the same thing with the horizontal clearance.
