Re: Check engine light flashing
Ok I finally found the connector. It was behind the harness that I took a picture of. It was a black T connector with a single black wire and if I remember correctly it had a red stripe on it. Now I just have to solve my over heating issue. I also notice when I had the heater on I keep hearing a noi...

Re: Check engine light flashing
It's ok thank you for the help. I haven't tried to address the over heating issue yet. I only had time for this one today. When I disconnected the black wire I notice it no longer beeped when the key is in the ignition.

Re: Check engine light flashing
Ok I have them both disconnect. I drove it around for 15 minutes and turned it off any on 10 times. It's still flashing the check engine light. I have no clue on how else I can turn it off

Re: Check engine light flashing
On your second picture, the black connectors on the far left is the Black test leads and should be disconnected. I'm not sure what the blue colored plugs are, but they should be connected. Sounds like you still have some air in the system. I like to open the bleeder screw on the opposite side of th...

Check engine light flashing
I hope I'm placing this in the right place but if not let me know. I just recently replaced my heater core. I put the dash back together and reconnected all connections. I started the car so I could burp the system. Once all the air was out I jumped in the car to go get it inspected. I noticed the &...

Re: Heater Core replacement??? Straight forward???
I was finally able to do it. I wasn't able to pull it out due to the brace that is attached to the steering wheel. Once that was out it just came straight out. I was glad that I didn't have to discharge the AC. However I wasn't too happy with the new heater I got from autozone. It did not come with ...

Re: Heater Core replacement??? Straight forward???
I am also replacing my heater core and I finally have the dash out! However I can't seem to find a way to remove the heater box to get to the core. I have tried the search option but I haven't found anything on how to do it. With having limited mechanical skills and have never done this before I had...

Replace or fix door on 94 legacy sedan
I picked up a 94 legacy sedan FWD not too long ago. There is a big dent in the door and the door handle is hanging off. Don't really mind the dent but what drives me crazy is the loud screech it makes when I open the door. The door is not pinching the fender and the gap between the door and the fend...

Re: Blower motor high speed problem
Thank you so much for the advice. I was low on funds this weekend so I picked up a resistor at the junk yard and it worked! I have already started taking apart the dash. My question is since I am already replacing the resistor and heater core what else should I replace or do maintenance on? So far t...

Re: Blower motor high speed problem
I know this is an old post but I hope someone can help. I want to start off by saying I'm new to subarus and don't know them that well. My mechanical skills are very limited. The blower only works on 3 and 4. Do I need an new blower or unit? I have to replace my heater core so I thought it would be ...
