Re: Heater Unit Controls/Blower motor

Also, I bought two different repair manuals for the first gens. They'll be here after the weekend and hopefully that will give me some info.

Re: Heater Unit Controls/Blower motor

I'll have to pull the controls soon and check the solders. Thanks for that!

If you ever do come to Iceland the Subaru culture is crazy over here. Come to Neskaupstaður (East Iceland) and I'll show you around the place :)

Re: Heater Unit Controls/Blower motor

Thank you for the diagrams :) I found another forum post about the brake lights and horn being the same fuse and if neither worked all you needed was to replace the fuse. I did that and... NOTHING! I even tried putting a higher rated fuse instead but still nothing. Man this car is starting to piss m...

Re: Worried about the clunking :(

the clunking has for some reason disappeared. Might have to do with the clutch still breaking in.

Re: Heater Unit Controls/Blower motor

I have replaced the relay, and nothing changed yet again.

Should have maybe mentioned this before but the car is full EUDM, since I live in Iceland. Might change things, might not.

Re: Heater Unit Controls/Blower motor

The relay or the resistor? Because I switched the resistor and that did nothing.

Heater Unit Controls/Blower motor

I pulled the dash and switched heater cores in January 2016, got it all back together fine and dandy, suddnely one day the blower motor doesn't blow air... Haha, thanks all of you for the help. Gotta love this forum :)

I will test the factory bleeding order in a few days and we shall see if the air goes away

Re: Worried about the clunking :(

It sounds a lot like the noise comes from the driveline. Do you think it might be because of the fact that the push bearing is sitting on a very worn rod?

Re: Dang air in my brakes

Thanks for the tips.

I've already gone through and bled the brakes on every poont multiple times, always with the car running though.

Also I have no Idea what the factory bleed order is.

Worried about the clunking :(

So I have a 92 Sedan which I recently did a gearbox change on. So now there is a completely new clutch package on the car and all. BUT. When I downshift and release the clutch quite harshly there is this strange clunking. It never happens while driving normally and it gets less aggressive when the c...

Dang air in my brakes

So I accidentally completely emptied the brake fluid reservoir and now there seems to be air on the whole system, even though I did tap air off all the brakes.

Any ideas?

Alright, help from the local mechanic informed me about the hill holder. It was too tight after a gearbox change. Thank you all for helping though!

Left front caliper sticking.

So I have this 1992 legacy and I just redid this calipers and put brand new rotors/pads on, and the left caliper/drivers side keeps sticking (the rotor wont turn at all). :( If I let off pressure by bleeding while not pumping it lets the rotor go and it is free again. I really have no idea what is g...
