Re: Disc brake conversion
Thanks for the quick reply. I had gone through the sticky compilation thread and to be honest I just thought it displayed so many options that it got confusing. I think I would opt for 3rd gen Legacy brakes since they are very common here in Iceland. But replacing the drums in the back require me to...

Re: EJ22 to turbo rebuild
Yeah, that's what I'm trying to decide... whether to just go with factory pistons and everything or to replace some parts with stronger parts. The thing is I suspect it's just a bit too expensive. If some of you know which parts I should get it would be great if you could point them out to me.

EJ22 to turbo rebuild
Hi guys and gals. I have this great EJ22 engine and some turbos to choose from but I'm not a pro so I turn to you guys. Has anybody put a turbo to an EJ22 engine and if so, what should I have in mind? What would be my best/cost effective way of doing it right? All replies very well appreciated becau...

Disc brake conversion
Hi guys and gals.
I have a restoration going on and I'm going to upgrade the brakes but with budget in mind. What besides WRX/STI brake parts works for a 1990 Legacy which has drum brakes in the rear and small discs at the front?

Re: HKB Steering Wheel Boss Kit
I have a similar product if not the same and it's also a problem for me to install the hub. It seems it doesn't go far enough on the spline somehow. I can't even get the nut on. I've used considerable force but not too much to prevent ruining the spline. It was a real surprise for me to find that ev...

Re: EJ22 NA rebuild?
Thanks for the answer guys. I have pulled the engine apart and so far nothing is looking too grim, although there were some water marks on one of the long head bolts which I will look into. Now I've got two of the pistonpins out but I have no idea how to split the engine block in two... Any ideas?

Re: Jamal's blanket suspension recommendations
Hi there.
My suspension is very tired and I'm looking for a cheap replacement. I'll need the whole assembly, coils, struts and all the bits and pieces.
Is KYB the way to go and is there no way to get it in a package including everything?

EJ22 NA rebuild?
Hi guys and gals. I am thinking about rebuilding an EJ22 NA engine I've got and slot it into a first gen. I've got the five speed manual gearbox and an LSD diff plus all the bits and pieces I'll need. On the other hand I've never done any of this work before so tips and pointers would be very welcom...

Thank you so much. It's kind of difficult being a newbie in this sort of thing so I'll try to read up on this as much as I can along with using the list you just gave me.

What to change in an EJ22M?
Hi guys I have extracted an EJ22M from a car and it's going into another 1st gen which has a body in better condition. The thing is that this is my first time tinkering with an engine and I'm trying to do it right the first time and learn a lot in the process. So those of you that can shed a light o...
