Hey sorry it took so long to reply, I had the wrong email address in here for the notifications. Yes it has been in the canvas garage ever since she switched over to driving the SVX. The rear end was perfect when it was parked. I haven't been under it in some time so I dont know how bad it is, but i...

SOLD! MA '92 legacy SS turbo $1500 OBO good EJ22T bad 4EAT

Sold to a good home! Good EJ22T I finally decided to sell my moms old legacy SS turbo. It has 198,000 miles on it and the engine pulled strong with no issues when it was parked about 5 years ago. No knocks, no leaks, and a nice little turbo whine that my mom enjoyed (it was her car). Most of the ext...

I've seen those all over ebay, they are very common and seem like a very good piece especially if you get a used intercooler with no inlet flanges, you dont have to source the 2 small flanges because they are part of this.

if the abs is working when you hit the pedal hard and it needs the abs youll feel the pedal pulsing under, like a vibration. the hum you have could also be a rear wheelbearing so that may be something to consider when your lookin at the diff. also if the sound seems to be coming from one side then i...

yea definitly blow at it with a heat gun and spread it out slowly. use plenty of heat though because you dont want to crack it with the expander. you should be able to spread it right out with a little bit of time and work.

well i agree that its good to have a job you like, but benefits are always the way to go. health insurance is very very very expensive if you have to pay for it yourself and it would really kill your pay. if you made the same amount at each job the one with the benifits would take home a lot more th...

ive found the legacy forum on nasioc to be very small and without much info. my cousin just picked up an 00 legacy and ive still found this site more useful to find information about it... i think it would be great if we could expand to encompass more of the legacy and truely be a site for all legac...

yea unfortunately i dont know if ill be able to find a 3.9 without it being from a turbo legacy and those arent the easiest things to find. ill just have to go with a 4.11 and get the rear diff too. i figure the nice thing with the 2.5 is it should be a little stronger then the 2.2 tranny (probly no...

possible rear LSD option, any opinions?

http://www.phantomgrip.com/ i understand the concept because it works almost like a locker for a truck but it doesnt use gears it just uses friction on the spider gear. when the rear diff turns in a straight line it puts pressure on the center pin which pushes the 2 plates apart and squeezes the spi...

why not run a catch can that vents to atmosphere? http://store.summitracing.com/product.a ... htype=ecat put that on and seal off the connector to the intake. unless theres some reason the intake air needs gasses from the crank case into it.

well the 97 was gone, but we went by a dealer and my cousin picked up a 2000 legacy L 2.5 5MT with 87,000 miles. white and in beautiful condition inside and out. the only thing that wouldve been nice is a moonroof and maybe some rims instead of the steelies but for 9500 bucks were not gonna complain...
