There isn't a day that goes by that I miss the fun factor my old Legacy had. With all of the stupid fast cars I've driven in my day, nothing has been as fun as my Legacy was. I miss the car like I miss a leg. It was impossible to drive it and not smile. I miss it, but I'm not sorry or sad that I got...

Those would all be good things to have in the shroud. Make sure you use connectors on all wiring though, so when you remove the shroud it is easy to get to. Label them, since they will likely all look the same. What is in Spencers Cocktail though? There is a LOT of dangerous stuff out there that wil...

The only replacement for displacement is forced induction..... in fact that's not even technically a replacement because forced induction increases displacement by increasing atmospheric pressure and allowing a larger volume of air (if it were at atmospheric pressure) to occupy the same cylinder sp...

Not much, is it? And it's a much stiffer, better chassis. This is the problem with tuning our cars, you run into a point of diminishing returns when you chase a goal like the STI. The early Legacy is a good platform, but it's loose and floppy compared even to the GC Impreza, and miles behind the ST...

From what I've gathered and witnessed, whining is often times associated with the front ring and pinion about to grenade. Or transfer gear bearings. In fact, that is something YOU need to watch out for. At the FIRST sign of a whine, the rear transfer bearing is about to let go. Either replace it yo...

RacingBrake 316x18mm rear brake kit
As you all know, I developed this kit with RacingBrake. I've got the 290x16 kit that I am running on the car and a 316x18 kit that I'd like to pass on to one of you for a good deal. The retail is $515-ish for this kit. I'll let it go for $400, and I'll split actual shipping costs (I don't expect it ...

Depends on what you want. STi axles are marginally stronger than WRX axles, so looking at it from that point of view is faulty. A built 5MT is going to be MUCH better for drag racing and anytime you want longer gear ratios. The 6MT is good if you REALLY like to shift (and into 5th down the 1/4 mile....
