Most of the plugs should be the same. Harness swap shouldn’t be to difficult.

Neon coil pack

I know it’s on here but I’m sure it’s buried so could someone lead me to the article to wire the neon coil pack to the 93 harness. Much appreciated

Ouch.
Honestly my bottom end was in almost perfect condition aside from having 280,000 miles on it. Almost felt bad casing. But it will be better longer now

Re: 20g valve pucks.

There is no adjustment on hydraulic lifters. "Hydraulic Lash Adjuster" or HLA means it takes care of that all on it's own. Shim over bucket is a completely different thing, which you do not have. You sir are a master. Thank you for all your wealth of knowledge. You sir are the man. This i...

20g valve pucks.

So I have these version 2 sti heads and I'm trying to figure out how these valve adjuster shim over buckets work. They look to be hydraulic but there isn't any adjustment screw or anything like that. How do they work? How do I adjust them?

Re: Ej22t/Eg20g hybrid headgaskets??

I've used cometics almost every time I've done other dohc builds though. It seems like they're just the "go to" for builds. Wiseco makes head gaskets as well. I have a set of them in my garage. They look identical to cometic gaskets. I wish I could have used them but they're too thin, .04...

Good to know. Being that the cometic ones really aren't that expensive I think I will be using those, but I really appreciate all the info. Thank you.

Re: Ej22t/Eg20g hybrid headgaskets??

Off-the-shelf Wiseco pistons are also proud of the deck. They do increase CR by a half point in a stock engine though, so that's nice. You still need to use the thick 22T head gasket. So I'm looking at an mls gasket from Cometic .50" with is a little more then a millimeter. Do you think that w...

Re: Ej22t/Eg20g hybrid headgaskets??

You have to use headgaskets that match the bore of the engine, so 2.2L. You have several thickness choices, but you'll need to use the 1.3mm gaskets to avoid the 22T pistons coming up and hitting the heads. 22T pistons are proud of the block at TDC. Yes, CR will be low. No way around it without aft...

Sorry the first post was vague. Wondering if I even need to replace the crank or not. It looks damn near perfect and if it doesn't need to be replace then why do it. Any information is helpful.

93 turbo legacy wagon 20g hybrid build

Alright guy and gals I'm building my motor. I am getting version 2 sti 20g heads. I'm putting these heads on a 22t block. I am wondering what the best way to go about this would be. I cased my block and the crank looks perfect. While it's in the budget to replace the crank at$380 usd. While that is ...
