Anybody around Texas know of any ej22t’s in the local junkyards? I know everybody and their mom wants one, but thought I’d put it out there, thanks.

It says it was for a 93-01 GC8, and yeah I haven’t really been able to find much on it either.Legacy777 wrote:Honestly, I don't know. I did a little bit of searching and couldn't find anything specific. Do you know the model and year range that this rack came from?

I already have the rack, I just wanted a rebuild kit for it for ease of mind. Like I said I still need to make the linkage work somehow, thanks though

Re: Looking for 93-01 GC8 steering rack rebuild kit.
You know.....I actually may have one. I bought a seal kit for my 97 Impreza to do the steering rack but never used it. Do you have a part number or a year/model range I can double check the seal kit I have against? Part number is 34110 FE140, I’m also looking for the knuckle so I can cut and weld i...

Looking for 93-01 GC8 steering rack rebuild kit.
Need to find a seal kit for the year GC8 above. I bought one to put in my car but while I have it out I’d like to rebuild it for ease of mind.

Re: GC8 Quick Turn Steering Rack in a JDM BF5
I'd reuse the one that came on your car, just to be sure. I have a feeling that a normal LHD 1st gen legacy one would be the same, but I've never tried that. If your JDM gc8 rack didn't come with one, I would try a junkyard GC/GM/GF lhd knuckle, but once again, I don't know if theres a difference b...

Re: GC8 Quick Turn Steering Rack in a JDM BF5
You'll need to have a welder uh weld your legacy knuckle to a GC knuckle. This is SOP when swapping racks, unfortunately. I had one made when I put a GD STI rack in my GC. I believe I paid $40, plus the cost of the second knuckle. Do you know of anywhere I could buy a Legacy knuckle that is a sure ...

Re: GC8 Quick Turn Steering Rack in a JDM BF5
Well I ended up buying a 1993-2001 GC8 steering rack (34110-FE140) and the splines were different than my car. I cant return the rack so im kind of stuck at the moment.

Re: BC Racing Coilovers
The stock Subaru offsets are typically in the +50 mm range. I'd be curious if you would still have rubbing issues with more positive offset to suck the wheel into the fender. Does it rub a lot or a little? The rears are where it’s rubbing the most but sadly there’s no camber plates on the rear. I’m...

Mine had had a huge leak in it for awhile and I can’t seem to find the part number or one for sale on the internet. Let me know if you have one, or if you know of one that will fit. Thanks

BC Racing Coilovers
Pretty insane drop with these BC’s for a 93-01 Impreza. The back is rubbing on the fender lining so I’m going to need to raise the ride height there, but the fitment is pretty good from the box. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191022/e49d8540e047d2c164d2245ad9efd4fe.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-c...

GC8 cluster in 92 rhd legacy
Does anybody know if this would be a direct swap with 92 rhd legacy? Or what it would take to make this swap? Thanks

Got some bronze 16x7 A-Tech Final Speed Erasers. Running 215/55 tires on them. Rubs a little bit on big dips but not during everyday driving. Love how the wheels match the 2-tone so well on the car! 92 GT lives another day!
Got done swapping my car with the 96 WRX EJ20g, had some kinks I had to work out (forgetting the main circuit ground, getting new coil packs because I was only running 2 cylinders, and head gasket stop-leak) but she is back on the road again! Now I’ve got to crack my old engine apart to see where it...

Re: 92 Legacy EJ20g ECU on a 95-96 EJ20g engine
Your legacy ecu will run that wrx motor. There may/may not be electrical differences depending in which market the WRX was sold, but if you swap over your legacy intake manifold and harness, but use the WRX coils you should be good. The WRX ecus are generally better than the legacy ones, but they d...

92 Legacy EJ20g ECU on a 95-96 EJ20g engine
Will this work, trying to find another engine for my car and found one that looks similar. Only differences I see are power steering pump, and the coil packs have one bolt instead of 2 like mine. I’m just wondering if the ecu will connect straight up to this engine. Thanks guys. Let me know if you g...

RIP EJ20G
Started her up after school, notched she was bogging down a bit, soon after I was turning onto the road, noticed some knocking at half throttle, next thing I know the engine stalled and the tires locked up and I came to a skidding stop. Once I got towed home by a friend, I took off the timing belt c...
