Re: lightweight 14" for a 1990 wagon?

right. I'm actually very active on facebook, so active that I broke some unwritten rule and was thrown in fb jail for oversharing! Anyway, I guess I'll post there when I'm allowed to post again.

Drive Shaft upgrade for a 1990 AWD L wagon?

Still thinking about rotational mass... Have any of you experimented with aluminum shafts or one vs. two-piece assemblies?

Re: Stuck retracting belts on a 1990 l wagon

I cranked the receivers back to their end position and forward to their start position, Turininf the car off and on both times . Unfortunately no automatic movement, also no sound of motors running. Cranking them all the way back got the light off. Could I have killed the motors when I blocked them?

Re: lightweight 14" for a 1990 wagon?

I'm pretty sure the stock offset is 55, and yes lighter wheels do make a difference. You might check out the stock wheels that came on the ss, but they are 15 inch instead of 14 and that would probably add some weight. I'm also not sure how the weight compares between steelies and the aluminum whee...

Stuck retracting belts on a 1990 l wagon

I made a dumb move and strapped something to the roof, preventing the auto shoulder belts from moving to their fully engaged position. The receptacles are at the top corner of the door and the light is flashing. Before this they were working perfectly. Is there a way to reset the belts? Did I seriou...

This was over 2 years ago, I’m guessing you sold it. But just on the very off chance that did not happen I would love to buy it.

lightweight 14" for a 1990 wagon?

I've been working on my own cars for a couple of years but have never messed with wheels as I typically like to keep things looking stock but researching rotational mass has me thinking a lighter weight wheel would do me good on my 1990 L wagon. I don't totally understand the parameters I should be ...

More power from a 1990 L wagon ?

Hello all, First post here, I just got this 200k mile wagon, totally rust free, immaculate interior. I want to make it my daily and am currently refreshing the suspension. Is there any way to eek a bit more power from the stock engine? It's my understanding that exhaust does very little for non-turb...

Re: Jamal's blanket suspension recommendations

HI Jamal, thanks for all this. I'm new to the site and new to the Car (90 L Awd wagon) . my car came with some seriously jacked shocks, replacing them with KYB excel-g. Also replacing the whole suspension front end while I'm at it with a bunch of moog stuff from rockauto. I would love to upgrade the...
