It's a powerstroke IC. Way overkill but it works. It's about 3.5" thick if I remember.

I don't think It would be a huge gain to go to the TD04 but it would be better if the claims of the "most" you can get out of a VF11 are true. I'm not sure if the amount of work for the install would be worth the gain, for stock EM, and if you are going to get better EM you should aim for ...

A stiffer head would keep head gaskets together better at high boost as well.

OK, this might sound really stupid.... I got a pump that is a used as a AWIC pump in Cyclone. I figure if it works for them... I used the easy heat exchanger, AC condenser. It worked fine but I would have liked to use a small radiator out of a 80's VW. I enjoy the amount of thought that is going int...

There seems to be a pretty big diference in what people say a VF11 is "good for" and what a "very small upgrade" td04 will make for HP in a WRX. It's really starting to bug me, someone is wrong...... NICO, buy the VF30 you talked about and make it fit. It'll be better than the tu...

It's not my fault that I knew I wanted some power so I got a turbo to start with.
I also don't know jack about 2.2N/A power mods so I let Matt answer them.

I'd use the VF30 and see if it has enough for you. You won't have to mess with the exhaust so big plus there and it should be a good bit better than the VF11. gt350, yup Reeve's Capri. That thing is a monster when the boost comes on. I should have guessed you were a 2.3 guy, nobody else seems to kno...

He wants stupid power I bet and I think he is getting a Greddy Emanage and STi injectors. I have driven a 2.3 Ford with a HX35 and it was OK. I wouldn't run it at less than 20psi. It's a twin scroll so if you made a Header with a twin scroll up pipe it would spool up better. The HY30 would make a be...

Holset HY30 or HX35. They use the Garrett flange so you would need to do some exhaust work.

Best bang for the buck turbo out there right now but the word is getting around and the price is going up some.

I think it depends. I'd have more fun spending the money on a Subaru build than maintain a BMW.

I would build a 93 Impreza wagon with a EJ20G for a wagon.

They can leak because of the high exhaust pressure behind the turbo. That leaks hot air into the intake, bad in many ways.

It's just a matter of time till they want to implant......

I also don't see how this will stop any terrorists, just make it easy to say who did it. And that won't deter a sucide bomber.

Also, you don't have to get one of those toll tags. You will need an ID.
