Well I wouldn't be surprised if the US turbo legacy's have EJ22G on their vin plate. It seems Subaru has a tendancy to do that to the US market. My 2-door RS and most others are marked as a sedan, so go figure. Oh well just trying to help.

You guys are making this more complicated than it really is. All you have to do is have someone with a US turbo Legacy look at their vin plate and put up the Engine Type in this thread and the problem is solved, no more discussion needed. I'll get the Engine type for the 22b's from Adam on 22b.com.

I read your post on Nabisco. The turbo legacy and 22b share the same block, but the 22b didn't get the squirters. The legacy blocks with the squiters should have 2 crankcase breather tubes and the 22b has only 1. This is from Adam at Lateral Performance, he specializes in 22b's and is a moderator on...

The short name of Subaru engines that people use comes from the engine type on the vin plate.

EJ20GDW5PR - Ver 2 type RA EJ20G
EJ20KDW6PJ - Ver 3 type RA EJ20K
EJ207DW1PJ - Ver 5 type RA EJ207

so on so on.

Relax dude, its ok to learn. Thank you NuwanD. Mark, The formula for IC efficiency is eff = (Tout - Tin) / (Tout - Ta) So if you can get the intake charge before the throttle body lower than ambient temp then you have gone over 100% effciency. Air-air IC cannot do this water to air IC can. I hope y...

Just so you guys know the stock Legacy W/A IC flows more air than any stock top mount Air/Air with the inlet pipe Subaru has ever made (except one). That is with the inlet pipe. Every top mount without the inlet pipe will flow over 250cfm put with an inlet pipe they all flow under 200cfm. Only the V...

I e-mailed Brett at MRT and he told me the STi feed pipe won't bolt up to the standard WRX IC, but they make an alloy one. There is a convoluted piece in the standard that kills the airflow and the STi flows 50% more because of that. I would see if turbohoses.com has anything you could use for a cust...
