Re: EJ20G "RobTune" Info
Went back to the Dyno w/a full 3" TBE exhaust, Mopar coil pack (Neon) and tighter plug gap (.028"). I don't trust the #'s, especially since Mustang dynos are known to read low. I'm not dissing the tuner or the shop, the car just doesn't feel THAT quick or fast. But I've not ridden in anyt...

Save it or kill it? ( By the poll, save it is- Now part II)
True. But since I have two cars one with the original tranny and one with the RA one I REALLY notice it.
I will post the ratios here in a day or so with the corresponding Mph comparison to stock.

Ok months later: the RA tranny is in. You really can't get the gist of the ratios until you drive it. The thing shifts like butter but it's highway days are over. 60mph in 5th is 3k Rpms. It is the Sti 6 spd minus the 6th gear. That 6th gear drops the highway speed almost 1000 Rpms. The gears are se...

Re: Hrm.. anyone swapped trunk lids with a Liberty?
Getting the lid is worthless unless you have the matching bumper cover. This is due to the license plate lights are on the bumper cover. Otherwise moving your plate to the center of the trunk lid leaves no lights to illuminate it. The bumper covers are too big and awkward to ship.

I read around 22-24 constantly but I push it and sit around 80 on the freeway. You are going to have to light pedal it and keep her below 2800 Rpms on the freeway if you want good mpg

Re: Finding an OEM sedan rear wing
Does anyone know where I can buy or find an OEM rear sedan spoiler? I'm wanting one for track racing, and for the added down force. Downforce? You do realize that it barely lies within the wind stream and that it is pretty worthless for providing actual force on the car. It's an aesthetic piece mos...

Re: Save it or kill it? ( By the poll, save it is- Now part
So based on the poll, I am going to save it, so I went shopping for a transmission and ended up with an engine AND a transmission 1995 WRX 20G RA. Closed deck engine with the 5th injector. Has the TD05-16G and the 440's so I don't have to do anything. Previous owner upgraded to newer coil packs and ...

Re: Save it or kill it?
Sadly I don't think I will be able to control the fifth injector. The PP6 on the other car has the ability to add an independent injector but it's not going in that car. I think it would be useful if I was nearing static on the injectors but that would be the only use.

Re: Save it or kill it?
Ok, since you guys said to save it, I am saving it. I have ordered a JDM 95 WRX Ej20G engine and transmission. ( Yes, the one with the 5th injector.) So it will be getting a newer engine and transmission soon. I will be keeping the AWIC and everything on it already. The transmission is a 3.9 FD, but...

Save it or kill it? (Now part III) Back on the road
So the test mule ( the car Rob used to make the converters) was sitting in the garage due to a clutch issue. Took it to PIA and Steve put a used 06 WRX shift assembly in it and replaced the connectors from the pedal to the clutch slave. It solved my issues completely. I drove it around the block and...

Same here- you can get 215/45/17 and they barely clear but they do with the 53 offset. You could get 10mm spacer and pull the lip liner and do a little rolling and should be ok.

If you have converted your car to an EJ20G ECU, the all you have to do to USE and EJ20G is make sure you use all of the sensors and wiring from the 22T and you will be good to go.

The leds wont be as bright as stock lights and the bulb housings wont fit perfectly. You will have to trim each one- this is a warning- as i did some led replacements. As for the bulb type and size- pm me tomorrow evening and i will grab a spare cluster and count each one
