Need money REAL BAD! Diamond coil, cheap engine!
Trying to unload a few parts, I have at least one Diamond coil pack, if I find another I'll let you guys know. I have not priced them lately, but how does $25 sound? Not likely to be shipped, but I can hook you up with it if you are in Williamsport, PA. Next up, EJ25 from a 1998 Forester. It blew th...

I've got a problem...
OK, so my 1993 sedan runs out of inspection at the end of next month. I know it will need: I think it's called the intermediate pipe? The one with the rear cat. I know I need this, because after a nice snow bank issue, the cat is not longer on the car. Rear driver side strut. Likely need the mount a...

I WAAAANT that engine! I live in Jersey Shore, mine just took a dump the other day. Why is it for parts? Something wrong with it? I have all of the accessories and sensors if that is what you mean. Mine just blew a head gasket, or a ring, cause I have really low compression on two now, runs like hel...

Ate a Legacy tonight @ red light.
I was driving down the street and I get behind this guy in a 92ish Legacy... no indication he has a turbo, but he does have an exhaust system that is far larger than needed sticking out past his bumper. He also had what appeared to be 17" wheels. Anyway, I follow him, to see if he gets the idea...

Dual pipes?
I know I am making many new posts regarding upgrades... but my new job is going to start paying a lot better soon, and I want my Subaru to run better too! Would running two pipes, one from each head offer much of a performance increase? I assume it would sound totally kickass from behind, with some ...

Hmm, do you know of a place that I could get my cams done? I simply refuse to pay somebody like Cobb the money they are asking for this stuff. I will also look into higher displacement. I know getting a turbo would make it all easier, and I may just give in and do that... but I am enjoy coloring out...

Porting? Polishing?
I want to put my spare EJ22 to good use, and I was wondering if there was any real good benefit to giving the heads this treatment in this car? I am still learning the ways of Subaru, and I wanted to get some input. Any work that I could have done to the cams as well? I want to get more power out of...

Engine mounts? They are huge!!!
Mine seem to be getting a little weak... time to replace! I have a set just wasting space here that I took off a 1990 EJ22 (also wasting space). One difference when you compare them to mine though... THEY ARE F#*KING HUGE! Honestly, they seem to have twice the rubber of my stock, and are larger than...

It was nice to meet all of you last week! Sorry I had to leave early, after calling my girlfriend and checking in on the flooding I had to go so I would not get stuck out of my town completely... which I did anyway... and drove around the blocks, and through 6+ inchs of water for a good distance. My...

Glad to hear I won't be the only non-blown car there. I am working on a few odds and ends, so I don't kill it in a 1/4 mile of hell :). I can't attend the Friday night thing, I have to work late that evening. I could meet you guys at Beiters, I was originally planning on taking 80 and then going sou...

I will be there, I may race depending on what I see there. I wonder how many N/A cars will make it? My car is not fast, but against other N/A's, I think I could put a hurting. I could complete the turbo group if somebody felt like putting an engine in my car within the next week! :) I may have a 200...

He told me to get off his property after I asked for the owners contact information, and he refused to give it. I stood up and demanded it, and that is when he told me to leave. I have everything recorded. I did not deal with the agent except where I had mentioned, the whole State Farm is strange, I...

Transmission hell... shady dealership.
I know this is in Drivetrain as well, but since it was more than just transmission related I thought it should be here too. A month and a half ago I was driving some less than perfect roads, resulting in a rock contacting the engine and transmission oil pans. I had to get the car towed home, and spe...

Transmission hell... thanks to Kinley's Subaru!
A month and a half ago I was driving some less than perfect roads, resulting in a rock contacting the engine and transmission oil pans. I had to get the car towed home, and spent a few hours replacing the oil pan (I have a spare engine... finally came in handy!), and leaving the sealed, but badly br...

Older Subaru turbo parts on a '90 Legacy?
I am near a salvage yards with roughly a dozen mid-late '80's turbo wagons and sedans, mostly Loyales. My question is, could I possibly work something out with a few parts from these cars? Or is this just a pipe dream? I just want to play around with my '90, even if it only gains a few HP from a ver...

I feel like I am home.
Yes, the title is true. I live in a town of Cavaliers, Civics, CRXs, Intrgras, and every other automobile that has 4,000 available fart cans. I am a new Subaru owner, but I could not be happier. I have owned many car in my 5 years as a legal driving citizen, but I am very pleased with my Subarus! In...
