good question. I will look into trying some and seeing if I can get a couple. Any other great ideas are welcome - keep 'em coming. Thanks!

the why
I am just tall enough that it would be really nice to lower and raise the seat to get in and out of the darn car. and yeah - they really do look supportive, and have the lumbar support thing. So are they not really as comfy as they look?

89 XT6 seats into a '90 Legacy wagon?
Anybody know if the seats from a '89 XT6 would come close to matching up before I pull everything and drive myself crazy? I have a '90 Legacy L wagon.
Thanks! Bret

90 legacy wagon suspension question
I bought another 90 wagon thinking I would cannibalize it for parts, but it drives too well, so it is going to stay whole. It is different from my first '90 wagon in that it has a little switch to the left of the steering column that I think says "shocks" and there is a middle, up, and down position ...

steel, alloys, pugs.... what the?
K - -have owned Subarus for years, but have never really understood what a pug is, much less known what the difference is between a steel and alloy rim. Any clarification would be helpful.

TCU question.... converted 90 tranny to '92
1990 Legacy wagon auto AWD. Had a 92 tranny put in along with the correct rear diff, but the mechanic forgot to put in my replacement TCU. As much my fault as his since I forgot to tell him I had one, but what do I do now? Is it something I can pop in myself? Why am I changing it in the first place ...

FWD fuse and rear diff question
Hi - I am just about done installing a used, and hopefully good tranny in my good old '90 wagon. I have a replacement rear diff (also from a '92) to put in since the tranny is a '92, but i wonder if I can drive the car in FWD by inserting the fuse, thereby giving me a little chance to see if the ...

I don't know much, but....
I understand that if you get a different year tranny you might want to put in an 'upgraded' TCU in as well, to take advantage of the newer and better systems it might provide.
(If I am way off someone can let me know, since I am about to do a tranny and TCU swap much like the one mentioned)

How long should it take to switch a rear diff?
I am going to have my local mechanic switch out both the tranny and the rear diff in my '90 legacy. I know what to expect on the tranny swap, but how long should it take to do the rear diff?
Also, I am looking for a TCU for the '92 tranny, if anyone has one please let me know. ( I dont really know ...
