Well, in my case it was cheaper and faster to swap the shortblock with a wrx ej20. Put in thicker STI head gasket and Voila! You lose 0.2L but compression goes up to 8.5C/R. Its a nice engine, with an almost brand new factory assembled block. Then resale the ej22T shortblock to somebody looking for ...

It IS water in the oil, condensation build up, when absorbed by oil it form a white goo, don't be too worried about it

I'm saying, like Ciper said, that the exaust manifold is the same on the SOHC ej22T and the DOHC Ej20T I have to differ, they are Slightly different. the cast manifold have a different angle on ej20T, I know this since i installed a new stainless up-pipe on my legacy, meant for a WRX. the bolt hole...

I used cheap generic flat black colorflo cans. It did come out a little spotty, so we went with two coat of black base coat to even it out.

Hesitation comes from you're Throttle Position Sensor not being set properly for your engine. I had the same issue went i swapped TB's.

Same issue here, but more so at high speed, felt thru the steering. I have new SS caliper in front installed last year, i suspect a loose tie rod assembly, could i be wrong?
