hehe, ok, it's not that different from an old L18 then =)
If i actually become the lucky owner of this legacy, i'll probably remove the engine to change the gaskets...
And about that milk-crate, that was a new version *lol*

how on earth do you damage the timing-belt covers...?? :-S
Is it as easy removing the engine on a legacy as in an old L18? (<2 hours work)

Was it difficult replacing the gaskets? did you have to remove the engine, or can it be done with the engine still installed in the car? I may find myself a lucky owner of a -90 Legacy 2.2, but one or both the gaskets are in really bad shape, a lot of coolant disappears.. I'm not new to working with...

Thanks guys! i'll check it out as soon as i get home from my vacation :-)
And i discovered that 100hp Can be fun, at least on a gravel-road, and only if you push the var to its (and your!) limit...!

I have run 1/4 mile runs at Bandimere Speedway in Denver several times with a n/a engine at 8500 rpm, the power seemed to fall off at about 7300 but this was with a '95 Legacy motor in a '87 Loyale with the original fuel pump. Putting a 2.2 Legacy engine in an old Leone Coupé?

Hi every1. I'm beginning to get seriously boored with my old coupe... 100hp is just not enough! But i don't have the money for bying a Turbo-charged car, so i'm thinking of replacing the EA82 with a 2.2L from a Legacy? I'm just wondering if it can be done, or if someone allready tried this?
