i have installed a full vehicle bushing kit on my old civic. i used the lithium grease that came with them, and only applied the grease lightly. i never greased them after initial install, and i NEVER had a single squeak. not even one. i even drove it during a michigan winter too. it was a tedious i...

The other conclusion to draw here is that the $1000 worth of mods to the NA didn't amount to a hill of beans. exactly. modern ignition systems are as good, and sometimes better than aftermarket. non-damped crank pulleys = main bearing failure. from all my modding experience, everything done to the ...

i'd say it depends on the surface

if it's ultra hard packed gravel roads, you'd probably want something hard to be able to dig up the dirt

on a looser two track/non-packed dirt i'd imagine soft would be better as the surface is easy to dig into

yeah, if i wanted an autoX only setup, i'd go with 14x6-7" and azenis. no question.

i'm not going to try and be highly competitive or anything, just out to feel the car at it's limits and have fun.

i've built and won with my competitive setup before, so i don't feel a need to win

so, what's the consensus here?

the price difference is $1 so it doesn't matter. i am a pretty avid autocrosser and these will see quite a lot of hard daily driving.
