A decent 1.6 60' instead of a 1.9 would probably take 1/2 a second off your ET. Aside from that I can't tell how your shifting is because that Honda is so loud LOL.

Keep practicing and you'll get it.

Just search for my old posts. I ran stock ECU and fuel system by tuning the fueling with a meth kit on the stock turbo, then a VF39 at 22 psi all with no intercooler.

Autronic. After using all three I'd never put the other two on my car. I use the SM4 on my Subaru, but they have a plug and play that works on the legacy SS which I've tuned on a customer's car and it works well. If your tuner needs support like that he shouldn't be installing the unit or tuning you...

It's not needed in every Subaru I've encountered except the new LGTs and they're a whole other story.

^ I think you are in the May '08 SubieSport mag (Toronto). Thanks for the heads up. I had no idea. I 'll try to snag a copy. You really need a dogbox in that thing. You'd be able to trap those speeds in 4th gear, AND cut time by shifting faster. No doubt that would shave a good amount of time at th...

SubaruNation wrote:how did you even do that without an intercooler?
that much boost is crazy :D
i honestly got scared watching that
On the EJ22T with the 35R I ran 108 MON unleaded race fuel with meth injection and some big nozzles.

On the STi with the 35R and no intercooler it was E85 plus meth injection.

I could imagine how bad the Legacy's body flex was as my low powered car's rr door dash-light reads open on high boost (for me) runs. I actually LOLd. That's hillarious. :) Wow! Its nice to see someone that hasnt given up and gone with an sti block, I cannot watch the vids because Im at work, but m...

The cage is being added onto. It will be a 10 point plus a few extras. It has Brembos all around now, the wiring was cleaned up, a custom dash plate was made for the AIM Sports dash, and my fuel level, boost and EGT gauges were relocated to the HVAC control locations. We just pulled the engine to se...

You can get away with an emanage and FCD with a good tune.

If you want something really nice, Autronic plug and play standalone.

It did rip apart the chassis in 2 days. The doors wouldn't close. That's why I moved the legacy engine into the Impreza and caged it before driving it. :)

What title? I had the GT35R on the stock EJ22T in my legacy running more boost than this.

Yup I'm guessing the Z06 was stock.

Nice work. I eventually took the meth kit off my project, but only after installing a moster front mount and switching to running race gas all the time. With the big FMIC and pump gas the meth kit was still a huge benefit.

No good times yet. Once I turned the boost up I went to the track on street tires and it spun all the way down the track as shown here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ci_3IY_YN0c It also wheel hopped like crazy in first gear whether I launched hard or bogged and rolled it out. Once it got moving it went...

We upgraded the ignition system and I have the boost at 28-29psi so far. It looks like scattered showers the rest of the week but hopefully I'll get to run it at the strip soon just to see what it does.
