Mud Guards?

Did any of the 89-94 legacies come with factory mud guards? I've never seen one, but I know that my dad's '98 came with them... If there aren't 89-94 ones, would the more recent mud guards fit? I desperately need some protection for my poor rust spots behind each wheel :(

Thanks guys!

I was quoting "Pigs" by Pink Floyd. Well, kind of...it actually says 'you're' instead of 'it'. However you slice it, the "Animals" album is an excellent reference to what this thread is about, good album. WORD! amazing album. as far as the original post, I hate alcohol, so yea.....

I don't think so. If I understand it correctly, the point of driving it around is to let the tranny shift a bit and to get it to work so that if there's any problem that only happens in 2nd gear or whatever, the TCU can spot it. So if you pulled it I don't think it would have the same effect, seeing...

I have the automatic, so I don't have a clutch to worry about. It's either my trans. or the diff, I'm thinking trans. though, since it's been taking longer and longer to engage gears lately. Going from drive to reverse to back into my driveway takes the car a solid 2-3 seconds. Since funds aren't ex...

hmm, my car's been making the same noise lately. Exactly the same as you describe it. If I'm giving it some gas going through an intersection I'll get that "grindy" grrr noise for about 2 seconds until I come out of the turn.

I have a 4EAT though...

Maybe raise the back 1 or 2 inches like you said to get the front and back wheel gaps evened out, but I think it looks cool anyway

Intermittent Duty Solenoid B code

When I started my car yesterday (wasn't sitting out in the cold for a while or anything, just a normal day) my power light decided to flash at me. Fearing the worst, I drove it around for a little test drive and pushed it a little in order to get it to downshift. It wasn't really a dramatic differen...

here ya go, I think El Paso (the company that makes taco shells and all that jazz) has an enchilada (butchered that spelling) "kit." It has the tortillas and the seasoning and all that good stuff, you just have to add chicken and cheese and toss it in the oven. If you like chicken and you ...

CEL died on me

Well, I went to start my car the other day, and my check engine light didn't turn on when the key was at "on." So I guess I blew the bulb. I really don't feel like tearing apart my dashboard just for my CEL, so is there a pin on the ECU or something that I can just hook a little bulb up to...

How about your spark plug wires? Are they in good condition? Not grounding to the block before the current reaches the plug or anything?

I don't know what to tell you man, I'm a relative newbie so I can't really think of anything else

Good luck!

Is it cranking and just not turning over due to a lack of spark?

If so, I'd check everything in the electrical path from your battery to your plugs (coil pack, wires, the plugs themselves, etc).

Are you sure that no spark is your problem? (are you getting gas, etc)

More info pleassseeeee!
