The mechanic who replaced the solenoid confirmed thats whats buzzing. But he says thats normal whereas whatever I have read about solenoid tells me otherwise.

It buzzes in Park and Gear. Not sure about neutral. Will check it tommorrow.

The fluid level is good. I topped it up a few weeks back. There is no problem when its not at its limit so i shall take the advice of not holding it there for too long. If the sound increases then I think I shall go in for a flush.

When i turn the steering wheel completely to the right or left and hold it there there is some grinding noise in the belt. Is this normal?
