I sold my '02 WRX, but it was definately a fun car. I'd like to someday put '02 WRX seats in my Legacy. My Legacy doesn't feel as balanced as my WRX did, but I really like how instant the boost is. I feel the extra .2 liters of displacement.

The A/C line off a N/A legacy doesn't have that kink in it, so I picked up one of those from the junkyard ($7). Installing my intercooler after the holidays and it looks like the worst part will be finding a spot for the coolant tank. I'm keeping my AC and don't really want to move the battery.

I saw that but didn't see a part number for it. Anyone have the part number?

When you guys talk about using the WRX coolant tank, is it this one?:

Is it a direct fit?

Is it ok to remove its cap once the car has cooled down?

I had some moron hook up the battery cables backwards in my Eagle Talon and it turns out that he had blown a fusible link in the main fusebox (in the engine bay).

Worked great after replacing that.

In a nutshell, a travel coffe mug is hacked up/drilled into to get rid of the resonator box that's by the airbox. Smoother airflow.

Boy are you about to get hit with the search stick.

Most of the time my car starts right up. Sometimes though after driving it a while and then letting it sit for an hour or two, it becomes really hard to start unless I pump the gas pedal a few times. Friend of mine works for a Subaru engine rebuilder and he said that it may be the Fuel Pressure Regu...

I'm hoping the intercooler I get has one.

So are you using a 3" connector?

What is the OD of the throttle body?

What is the OD of the throttle body connector part on the intercooler?

Also consider changing out your PCV valve if you haven't recently. I failed emissions, went home and changed out the air filter and PCV valve and then went back to get retested.

Passed with flying colors.

Since I like straight answers instead of "search noob" type responses, I'll give you a straight answer.

Any of the WRX downpipes will work for us, but you need to do a custom piece for the midpipe (or extend it).

I have a Stomung twin dump and am very happy with it.

I failed emissions, changed out the air filter with an Airhog (the old filter was dirty) and PCV valve and passed with flying colors.

I'd rather just call you a jerk. It's people like you that make boards like this no fun. One of my first threads you locked and insulted me and told me to search. I already had.

I'd expect a moderator to wish members to stay on a board, not discourage them and be rude to them.
