Help Selecting A New Headunit
My new Alpine CDE-9872 headunit broke after one month and a half of use but Crutchfield kindly gave me store credit for it. So I am seeking recommendations for a new one. My requirements are: -1 DIN CD receiver -Around $150 -Nothing too tacky or gaudy -Preferably rear AUX input Any thoughts or sugge...

Thanks for the responses guys, I was thinking more along those lines too but I finally figured it out. I was wondering why the sound proofing layer (or whatever the coating is under the carpet) was cracked. I removed a piece and there was a small hole which must be factory because it is perfectly ro...

Took about an hour but I got the headliner off and the sunroof assembly into the house. The sealant under the rails, as was expected, is completely disintegrated. Cleaning and resealing will happen today and will hopefully result in a dry car. I was thinking though, is what makes the sunroof stop a ...

My Trip Out West
My girlfriend and I took a trip out to the Grand Canyon after graduation. All in all the car did 5,645 miles and didn't miss a beat (although it needs a little TLC this week). Of course I snapped a few pics at various locations: Saggy butt due to camping gear: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3642/360...

Large Water Leak - Ideas?
After a while of driving in heavy rain there will always be a pool of water (often times several inches deep) in the back left foot well which will eventually spill over into the drivers footwell. The water only collects on the floor, the seats and headliner are not getting wet that I can see. I hav...

I love my SS because: -It is the perfect blend of performance and practicality -It is unpretentious and unassuming -It has history, heritage and character -It is a simple car-easy to modify and maintain -The camaraderie of the Subaru community ...and above all else it is simply a joy to drive. It's ...
