ok i have a question for you guys .why on the lower arm bar dose it conekt to the body instead of back of lower controlarm. it looks like it is the weak spot the front is allready braced. mabie i am missing the whole point i dont know. :?

ok how far do the t.m.i.c. sit off center line of strut towers . that looks like it sits about 4 inches forward is that close like you say its a smal pic so it is only a gess. if some one can run a line acros strut towers and mesure from front of intiercooler to string . i will work on a designe ok....

ok i am a puts with computers so for some reason i cant get a pick of the white line 550. but sounds good . the lower brace looks do able . i dont know how to fit one for n/a car .but if exaustpipe must go thrugh i could build it with a larger pipe for exaust to fit inside. split it and put bolting ...

so what if i modify a wrx one with turn buckel setup in center with 4 locking stoper nuts if any you guys want to buy two and ship them hear(your cost) il send one back modifide,my cost. are they longer or shorter. :)

ok i dont know the enginering of it, lots of people never do a back strut bar . i gess they dont like that it goes thru the trunk. now for the non turbo model i nead a drawing or more info about lower braceing espeshaly if it is diferent than mine. but give me a drawing with mesurments and we are go...

the hinges are nesisary on rear bar unless you want to cut holes in the back for install it goes in in three peaces . any how good luck the flange fit is the important part if it is to louse in the bolt holes you risk movement that could cause the bolts to fail . and that sounds bad :)

if you tack the threads in place . i doubt you will imbrittle the steal just a small tack and try to keep most of the heat on the nut ok good luck. :)

yea i just nead a drawing i think i will mesure out the b.c.d tomorow and try to cut some flanges with the torch i work at a small machine shop so i can probly do something this week . il get back to you soon. :)

ok if someone can get me the flange lay out i could have a proto type done in steel inside a week. and yea thats the design i was thinking and 75$ is a estimit on both front and rear bars are the flanges the same. :D

yea i cant do that price unless i build a thousand i cant eaven source the aluminum oval tubing like most are it is hard to find extrusions with a radius edge unless you buy lots . but i will still make my own . just because it is a labour of love . :wink:

no way man . you are right and aluminum is one of the few metals that actualy gets stronger at temp,slightly below 0. and quenching will softin work hardend copper. so i do stand corectid.i dont deal with alot of copper so i looked it up .my apoligys. :oops:

ok i am just a welder but one thing i can contribute is this. the annealed washers you are talking about .you would have to get them almost to melt temp,then cool over night slowly in oven. quenching will only make them harder. so if you want super soft(annealed) parts you should go new if you can. ...

ok again my apoligys about typos ect i was dislexic as a child so writen word is hard for me. but good news found problemb cracked hose at sending unit in tank. the old girl still neads help but for now her honer neads break fast and 6cil. mustang is on the menue. :D

ok i am a true amature at engines so please be patience with me. i got the car 3 months ago.with 260k now 280k done axels all round hollowed out down pipe cut out rear cat discon. a/c new ngk platinum plugs with tiny electrodes new brakes . and now this the poor old girl was losing power for a while...
