Iv'e got a LSD on the rear diffs and central diff but it is hard to tell wither you have one unless you jack the car totally off the ground. To find out put the car on a hoist and turn one of the back wheels (for rear diff LSD), if the other back wheel rotates in the same direction as the one you ar...

Yeah the mechanic said its really common for the end tanks to crack. I guess all the heating and cooling affects the plastic coupled with the pressure variation creates a fatigue type situation and after a while they just crack all in the same sort of area. I was supprised how easy it was to remove ...

The coolant does flow through the turbo and I am also worried what the stopleak is doing to my engine, I don't think I will ever use that stuff again. I have finally found where it is leaking, one of the end tanks has a crack in it  !. What supprised me is the end tanks are plastic and I have...

Help I got a radiator leak, I hit a bird at about 120 (km/h) and the little  put a hole in the radiator. How can I fix this cheaply, I have tried some stopleak stuff but it does nothing. I heard a rumor that if you put a small packet of black pepper in the coolant it will stop the leak...

Shouldn't the computer compensate for extra boost ?. It has a pressure sensor to calculate how much fuel to add dependant on the boost. The only trouble that would arise is if the sensor was bottomed out (ie the high boost has pushed the sensor to its stops) however this is probably not likely at 10...

Just a thought but moving the pipe closer to the turbo (away from the intake manafold) means when you back off and the intake pressure (in the intake manafold) decreases it takes a while for this information (the decrease in pressure) to reach the solinoid (as the bleed point is away from the intake...

Hello Did you pay $230 for an RS intercooler from NZ ay  . Thats heaps I live in New Zealand and I have seen intercoolers like the one you bought for $50 NZ (about $25 US I think). It is strange that US legacys come with no intercoolers as in NZ they all have i/c. How much power does a US non...
