Knock light is it possible??

After doing some searching I have found nothing more than http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic. ... nock+light this. So is it possible to make a knock light that is cheaper than turbo xs 100$ one. So bringing this one back in hopes to find an answer to the cheap knock light.

Well took the timing belt of this morning and rotated the cams a couple of times and nothing felt out of the ordinary. Did a compression test still 0 compression on both driver side cyclinders. Could there be a bolt or plug missing or something other than the head gasket that could be wrong?

So just use a screw driver to find out where the middle of the up stroke or down stroke is? Right now my timing mark as pictured is #1 at the bottom the oposite of tdc. Or is there another mark that I line my crank gear up to?

Then what could it be even if you forgot a head gasket there would still be compression on 2 of 4 cylinders were as I have 0 on all 4. Next a missing intake manifold gaskes or exhaust manifold gasket would not cause this problem. So that would leave a stuck open valve or valves. I got the valve stem...

First those dohc cam gears are a hard find ebay, on here, or rs25.com are your best bet. Ok in 96 the outback had a dohc so I am using one of those and 3 99rs cam gears. Next I work at a local parts shop and their is a diffrence between a 99rs timing belt, and a 96 outback timing belt. I am using th...

If they do not wrong size belt? Next do you get the belt acording to the head year that you are using or the cam gear year you are using. Cause right now I am using 98-99rs dohc cam gears with 1 95-96 dohc cam gear. While using a 99 rs timing belt?

0 compression with dohc swap/ I think I have a bigger proble

Still working on this stupid dohc swap. The car will not start at all it just sounds like it is farting. So my friend came over today and we did a compression test 0 on all 4 cylinder, and yes we tested the compression tester and it works fine. So if I have 0 compression that would tell me that timi...
