New tires

I'm getting a set of 17" 02 wrx rims and was wondering if anyone thought of running Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 at 205/45? any thoughts? Maybe BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2's?

just rip it off. Heat shields are more of a precaution than anything serious. Nothing should happen eventhough the cat gets kinda hot. If i'm wrong, someone please let me know because i already stripped them all off mine 8)

Other Subaru Seats

I have the oppertunity to get my hands on some seats from a 93 impreza for free. I'm going to get them no matter what but what i want to know is if they'll direct bolt onto my car (unlikley) or if i could modify the mounts to fit?

easiest way to check for awd.
1. Look under the rear bumper of your car at the rear axle, if it has a pumpkin-ish "growth" in the middle, you have awd.
2. Check the sticker on the inside of the driverside door jam. FWD=front wheel drive, AWD=All wheel drive.

it's probably mild steel, but are you going to "performance" shops or a good ol' exhaust shop? Any time the word "performance" involved it's going to cost you an arm and a leg.

good point...the build up was probably hitting the sway or causing it to contact the X-member. Glad it was just that.

ummmm.... i dunno if thats a good idea... sure it might give you better MPG but thats because it's burning MUCH hotter than pump gas, thus increasing wera and tear on yor engine.

i agree, any time you run anything above the stock boost regs, you bassically have to use an I/C. Check the intercooler forums and you should find your solution there.

Now, 95mm for 90-91 legacy rear spring top diameter, 100mm for 04+ impreza rear spring top diameter, the difference is 5mm. That is theoretically workable.
There's nothing theoretical about it. I installed 04 wrx struts and spring with my 91 stock tops and it fits perfect.

to replace stock AWD struts/springs/top mounts from a 02+ wrx onto a FWD 90-94 legacy you need to use the FWD top mounts in the rear. The FWD tops are slightly smaller and are angled, causing the AWD top bolts to not line up. Your stock tops for the NA legacy fit the struts and i believe the turbo i...

91 L FWD

For 2002+ Rear Strut/Springs, you need to use Legacy top mounts. They are angled differently and smaller than the awd tops. I just did the swap on mine.

The intake question is because i don't actually have the stock pipe for the turbo intake. 130 may be fun for around town but i've got some wagers vs mustangs to ...

I'm pretty sure it has the pink sti injectors on it, but what else can i do to get more bang for my buck per say? I've done some resea...
