This is like 280hp at the crank (you'll run out of turbo before anything bad happens...). I assembled the pa...

I think maybe it's more of a problem with longer V8 cranks sitting for decades.. Storing it vertical would be MUCH worse. Apparently solids can flow. I was in Europe last year and saw first hand how old glass windows are thicker at the bottom. Freaky. Anyway, I am probably the cheapest one here on t...

clean
I polished it up and it's smmmmmoooothve. Super-smove.
I doubt it's warped and I know this one only has about 10,000K on it.
But I did run a piston with a broken side skirt on it for a few rallies.....
The diameters are 2.263 and 1.891.

What do you think about this ph1 EJ25 Crank?
Is it toast? It has only been sitting in my shed for 1.5 years. I think maybe it's just surface rust.

It will lower your intake temperature at the throttle body a little bit. But it will also be prone to heatsoak. The first main mods are generally air filter and exhaust. Then people install an intercooler and boost controller. Probably those mods because they are easy and marketable! Intake? BAH. E...

run an oil pressure gage and watch it closely. You can probably shorten the pan, remove the baffles and shorten the pickup without too much trouble. You are fortuneate that in the boat the forces tend to be straight down which means you can probalby get away with running less oil and less baffle. Wa...
