Do you think 15 psi would be safe to run without an intercooler?
Also, I still have to find a way to build/improvise an FCD.

Alright, now I can almost feel myself becoming another notch engraved on the search stick as I type this, but which of the tdo5's is a direct bolt on, if any? Also, what is the highest I can safely run my stock turbo non-intercooled, and then with an intercooler?

Yes Nico I believe it was a picture of your red legacy with the massive front mount that made me choose to buy a legacy in the first place. For those of you running exactly the setup I described, with no engine management or beefed up injectors, how does it run? Is it worth the money and effort spen...

I am definitely rolling a standard, and word is that the stock tranny is pretty tough. The DSM cars here aren't really too heavily modified, honestly you would be pressed to find a front mount intercooler on one of them. I'm positive that I could pull faster quarters than those fools.

Well Jason, all I'm really looking for is if this setup will run safely and be reliable, and just looking to see if this is worth doing, and if there is a noticeable increase in power, as I don't ever get trak time, and it would mostly be for night racing meets where the top cars are turbo eclipses ...

Horsepower gains

So what kind of horsepower gains could be expected on my 92 SS if I swap a tdo5h-16g onto it, properly clocked, with a FMIC, and full 3" exhaust with an MBC and an FCD? Would this be suitable to put me up in the 250-260hp at the wheels range? Also, what psi is the 16g efficient to? I know sever...

So even if I replace my headlights with 91 headlights it will not work? ammit, it is so hard to find a 92-94 front end in Canada, and pretty much anywhere else.

Front end issues

I'm looking to replace my front end on my 92 SS as an accident left my rad support twisted. Does anyone know for sure if a 91 front end will fit my 92? I have heard both sides of the story, from dealers and auto wreckers. Also, will a non turbo front end be compatible, hood and everything? I know it...

If you would be willing to ship, and given the body is in good condition, I would take the whole front clip. Bumper, hood, fenders, radiator and rad support, etc.

What problems would I run in to with too little positive offset?

Just to clarify before I order the parts, turns out the parts car is a 1991 n/a, and I'm getting the whole front end. This will work on my 92 SS?

Is there possibly a wheel spacer, or anything else I could run to make the 40mm offset fit?
I bought these wheels for my celica, but now that I'm fixing my legacy I thought they would look awesome on there.

I believe several members are running 17's.
It is only a 205/40/17, its mostly the offset I am concerned about.

I know searching is the accepted thing around here, but I found nothing like this.
Will 17" wheels with a 40mm offset fit on a 92 SS?
