DGFX2 might not be the style for us. It's good, but too many things are missing or need to be tweaked. I'm proficient with many things behind the scenes, but editing templates isn't one of them. Melankolia is something I'm testing right now, and it resolves many/most of the complaints aired thus far...

Not as far as I've seen with the default install, though it is probably available with a modification.

PMs will let you know who sent them and what the subject is, however, which is a big improvement over the simple notifications of the old version.

Ok, it's under Board Preferences now. I'd had it set so that DVGFX2 was the only option.

This style's template doesn't have the View New Posts option in the code, so I'll probably have to add it. Many changes are bound to happen from this point on, but the heavy work is done.

We're not running 3, we're running 2. That's how old school we are.

You should at least be running .6. .7 adds a few minor tweaks and fixes but isn't as large a step as .6 was over all previous 3.x versions.

My JDM B4 MOMO wheel has the cutout for the stalk.

We will always have subsilver2 or prosilver, as they are the default style and a fallback. It's also nice for those who don't prefer the white-on-black style that many of us consider much easier on the eyes.

DVGFX2 seems to be the favorite at the moment.

These will bolt in but the airbag and cruise require cutting, rewiring, and some work to be functional.

The second leaves more room for customization in the header, which I can use.

That site is where I'll find the eventual replacement for this primary template, for better or worse.

I've not been able to find a style that's as simple, clean, and legible as this one, unfortunately. I'll keep looking, but right now we really need to upgrade, so that's less important than the update itself now.

That might be secondary to needing to simply move on to the latest stuff and settling for something that will do until we find something better.

Not a bad idea. I am not a fan of lots of subforums, but a separate forum for cars does warrant some serious thought.

For some reason that index seems to have reset on the 2nd.

I'll look in to it, but you can use the Google search in the top right corner in the meantime. It does a pretty good job.

Can someone give me an example of this not working?

I tried "clutch" and "pressure" and it brought up results for both of them with ten pages to look through.

The best I can do right now with this older version of the software is to just delete the user, move the posts, and ban the email address.

When I'm comfortable with the new version, I'll be upgrading. SLi uses it, and it's got a lot of really nice features.
