Give Richard Buckner a call, or email him:

rbuckner@royalmoore.com, 503-615-8403.

I purchased my PP and Clutch from him, and he seems to be one of the most knowledgeable persons around, mile hi included, about the differences between the models.

I dig my Exedy, and it's between 12-14lbs. If it's 9...that might be bad. Mine's very driveable, but i also have a STI clutch and pressure plate with STI engine and trans mounts, so there's no slack in the drivetrain to worry about. Streetlight launches are no problem, and i've only stalled it 3-4 t...

How can a grate possibly "smooth" airflow? Removing it can only be beneficial to airflow. Having experienced many different fan configurations in the computer field, the quietest and best flowing ones have no restriction whatsoever due to the lack of pressure being built up around the grat...

Camber bolts are crap, trust me...

Find a good set of camber plates and you're golden. All you have to do is jack up the car, loosen the bolts and adjust it how you want.

More is acheived by the lighter weight of the pulleys than from the size, and underdriving has some minor consequences when related to the alternator output, etc... Impreza pulleys are the same, it's not the car, it's the engine that's important. Pretty much any EJ part fits any other EJ motor. Dave

Good to hear that you're getting somewhere with that.

SCC had an article about a year or so ago about OBD-II readers and noted then that even the latest WRX has a very slow refresh time, 8/sec if i recall correctly.

Keep us informed!

A simpler but more expensive solution to this is to get WRX headers with a coating on the inside and outside, like Jet. It not only keeps the heat inside, but apparently makes the going smoother for the gasses, so their velocity increases. Same for the downpipe. As for the turbo, one of those baggie...

You've really hit on an important point: Turbo owners are a big part of the 1G community. There are a lot of NA owners out there, but there isn't a lot they can do to get more HP with the old engines without bumping into costs that rival a turbo swap. If i had my way, i'd rather have a 220hp NA car ...

Bigger is ALWAYS better on a turbo.

We don't have low end torque to start with, so the faster that turbo spools up the faster we get torque.
