Don't worry Al, i know you know of some good products that we should know about, and i appreciate the efforts with the aluminum coolant tanks.

I'd almost be interested in getting one of your new ones, cause my JC version still has the inlets and outlets on the back.

I'd recommend these for anyone who has a cracked/frail coolant tank.

What's the price?

No harm.

Links are fine, but since everyone has to download the image in every post, we try to avoid it.

A friend of mine has just installed a Saab A/A IC on his 96 Brighton Impreza with an EJ22T swap. His doesn't have any BOV right now, but he's trying to figure out the best way to do it.

I don't have any pics, and he lives in Chicago...

The knock sensor is one of the more problematic parts on the engine, and the original ones were oversensitive. A few people modified them to be slightly less sensitive, to reduce that hesitation.

The newer part is probably just less sensitive or more accurate.

I had purchased it in October of 2000, and the day i got it, i went to my first autocross in Pocatello. I didn't install it till i got there, then raced my first ever event. I ...

Good idea. I sent them a mail which basically complimented them on their WRC and SCCA Pro Rally coverage. What we need to do most is make it known that their support of these events is very important and to not beg and plea for them to not stop coverage, but to make them realize how important their ...

I got mine from Cobb, and iirc, it was also meant to fit the Impreza and Forester. It made a very noticeable difference in the flex of the body. Here's my review: http://www.xmission.com/~dac/library/brace.htm Here's an example of the modification to get it on: http://www.xmission.com/~dac/images/93...

With a normal 2WD car, you will have problems if you have different sized tires on the left and right drive wheels. Now take that to the extreme, where you have not one, but three differentials. This is why you need to have the tires as close to the same size as possible. I blew out a tire and ran m...

Click the link under the image, that's for the page on Legacy Central with more images. On that page is a link to his own page, with even more info and images.

I think they're 35 series 18" tires, so they do look like rubber bands.

Turbo engines nearly always have more torque than HP.

That 181lb/ft is at 2,800rpm.

Is anyone else going?

Lex got one from him, with an ACT clutch, for his 5MT conversion. When i drove it early this year, it felt a lot like my Exedy/STi setup. Any quality flywheel that's between 12-14lbs makes a world of difference in 1st gear and when rev-matching.

I've recommended that most people with failing Air suspensions do this. It's really pretty simple to just replace them. You'll probably need to go to a salvage yard and just buy the entire struts assembly: top mount, top hat, spring and strut, then depending on the condition of them, possibly get so...

I've had a lightweight flywheel (Exedy) and a UOR pulley on since February with no ill effects, but that's not really a long time.

I'd like to hear opinions on whether it's bad or not, but the whole subject of balancing in the engine has been covered innumberable times before.

Read the FAQ on Legacy Central :D

Everything works from the GC (93-01) except for the rear swaybar. Avoid braces, bars and top mounts from or for the GC (02+).
