I was thinking it might be able to run it because I'm just sticking with the factory VF11 turbo and it's injectors. I know the 2.5RS run 5-6psi without a fuelpump upgrade, but these EJ22T injectors are a bit bigger than the 2.5RS. so then I have to get something then......just to be one the safe sid...

the EJ25 block isn't LONGER/wider at all. They put the wrist pin up further into the piston to accomedate the longer stroke from the crank. All rods are the same length. The pistons DOES come out of the phase 1 EJ25, EJ22 and well as the EJ22T. My Phase 2 EJ22 pistons are FLUSH with the block, but n...

Thanks for the replies and tips. I may be picking up a '98 2.5L intake manifold for my DOHC 2.5L heads. I know there's a FEW little things you can mod behind the passenger head for oil fittings and coolant. How are the sensors on this '98 Manifold different and the same as the 22T intake manifold? I...

Limits of EJ22T sensors; MAP, MAF
I was wondering on these two things. So I hear that the MAP will be efficient up to 14psi, and the METAL MAF doesn't have that much of a window as the plastic JECS ones. I plan on putting in a TDO5H-16G and running 14-18psi on WRX or STi TMIC. I'm reading up on the E-Manage Ultimate and also Apexi P...

I'm going to get Forged JE pistons. The turbo setup will be Secton 8's STi turbo kit. That consists of the Garrett GT30R w/ external wastegate. If the EJ22T heads don't do me good, I might have to get Either SOHC 2.5RS heads, or the phase 1 DOHC, with some jun cams maybe. Shotting for 400whp. The tu...

Rev limit of EJ22T heads
I recently aquired a MY93 EJ22T long block. I plan to port the stock heads. I was wondering how high the stock valve springs can hold before valve float? I plan to have a 8500rpm rev capability. Redline will be set at 8000, but I want it to be able to rev to 8500 at times in come corners when at the...
