I have had three calls in a row on the car. they start out asking a few baseline questions about the car, Then Request a VIN report on the car. at ...

Took me a half hour to find a pic of a car with #4 on it, trying to decide if I should ridicule race promoters or photo journalists.

Re: Fun with glass beads!

Yeah this is one of those items that just screams out to be owned by every automotive enthusiast. I actually managed to fit the cabinet, compressor, two tool boxes and Vac into a 4' x 6' storage shed. If and when I move to a real shop/location Ill have the shed for additional storage!

Re: Fun with glass beads!

Brand new beads (the low silica ones) but the compressor is, admittedly, More than a little anemic. Its what I could get with what I had. An upgraded Air compressor is in the plans. but Ill have to see some business first.

Thanks all!

Re: Fun with glass beads!

Glass would take alot longer to get beat up. But would still need to be replaceable. Keep using the sheets and all is well. I hooked mine up to a 4 horse shop vac and have not problems with visibility or external dust./Dust leaking. The first thing I tried was the arm from a 2 ton jackstand. It clea...

For the life of me I cant remember which cylinder it was. It is a quick, easy, cheap process. I replaced all the philips head bolts o...

Its the get this junk out of my driveway sale!

Recently sold my car, and now I have bunches of parts I dont need, all prices are negotiable, local pick up only, cash only, I have no interest in trades. Faux STI seats, these are NOT subaru seats and dont fit legacy/impreza seat rails. I paid $450 for them after being told they where actual STI se...

Re: SOS - NO CEL -Broken down in Spokane, WA

havent heard back and take that to mean good news. Another idea that crossed my mind is the main fuse block under the hood.

No clue if that would cause the issues youre having but thought it would be a good place to look.

Re: SOS - NO CEL -Broken down in Spokane, WA

So, some basic tests to do to keep busy. The unholy trilogy Fire (spark) water (fuel) air (Self explainitory) Withdraw any one and the engine wont run. Put an old sparkplug in one of the wires and ground it against the block. It should spark when Turning over. If it isnt sparking then you have an El...

Re: SOS! NEED HELP!

Fuel pump was my first thought. But wouldnt the Ceck engine light turn on with the ignition on?

Dynamic said He tried to pull the codes and still didnt get the CEL light.

So.... either the CEL went out (very coincidental timing) or... the ECU?

SOS! NEED HELP!

So... sold Angel to Dynamic Entry. He called me and said She had died while at an Idle and wouldn't restart and he is out of town! Interestingly, The Check Engine light does not come on. I thought the engine light came on when you turned on the ignitiion till the car actually started. Ideas? Thought...
