Turbo swap

I know that a WRX turbo will fit in our legacies.

However what considerations are there for that swap?

My turbo just went all to he** and I need to put in a new one. WRX ones on ebay are a dime a dozen

Let me know what i should be looking for

yeah my biggest concern is wet pavement and gravel. ice and snow about 9% of the time and then dry pavement when not that...and price is a factor cuz well isnt it always??? thanks for the help guys keep them coming.....I live in the northwest if thats any indicator =0)

I was also thinking, that it may be the factory boost "controller" if there is such a think or maybe its a shutoff solenoid or something....anyhow could that be causing it?

well without the mistakes and being anal about it...it would have taken me about 8 hours......i know its long but to not be wet everytime i get in the car is worth it

Hello all, I Have been building up my SS to boost properly. Have a WRX IC. Using a Stock WRX BOV recirculating. Boost gauge. Fuel Cut defeater. The only thing im wating for is the boost controller. Hey got it to close. I greased the snakey spring looking things up and the tracks. Also i noticed it was off a few teeth at the motor as when i took the window off, the brackets were moving at diffrent spots. That all fixed it. As for the leaks it is now bone dry. Sunroof Closing Problems

Ok, So i read this post http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=183 about leaky sunroofs. Got the whole thing off, the "SEAL" that the factory used was like sand. Cleared all that crap out and siliconed it...now it works great no leaking. The problem is the sunroof is slow and stops.....

You must have an automatic then?? i have a 5 speed...theres really nothing that could cause that while shorting....the neutral switch??
