Right on! By the way, I have the full set of EJ25 rods and pistons also. I know I'm supposed to use the rods, but will I get into trouble If I use the pistons also. Let me know If I have the green light. Thanks.

Keep in mind that my superbaru is N/A itself. I am doing an all motor buildup. No turbo sadly. I dont think that the N/A even has oil squirters does it?

Compression on N/A ej"24" stroker.

Hey fellas,

Does anybody have a clue what the compression of the N/A ej22 with a ej25 crank will be. My rebuild begins Saturday(finally). Just curious.

I drive a 94 Legacy Wagon that had the Air Susp. What do you think the ratio is in mine and why cant I just swap them out? I really dont know a lot about differentials except that that the higher the ratio, the faster the acceleration. (4:11 quicker than 3:70)

WRX LSD

Ive noticed that quite a few US WRX LSD's are going for pretty cheap on Ebay($125-$200 US). Does anybody know if I can just get a hold of one and swap it in? And what is the gearing in it? It is the entire housing and not just the gears. Example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...

Similar instances happen here in North Carolina. In my town we have the Nascar Technical Institute(or NTI fer short). The uniform includes a bright blue T-Shirt. They get pulled non-stop. Its nuts. I know quite a few of them and none of the citations held up in court. Its simply HARASSMENT. Hope you...

Yikes! Strange noise from engine bay!!!!

Dude, just when I was saving up money too. It is a Clicking noise from the area around cyl 3. My guess is a sticky valve lifter. You can only hear it b/w 2800 and 5000 RPMs. The frequency of the noise increases with rev. It sounds like metal on metal. Bad Stuff! I know its not lack of oil or quality...

Damn. Just my day. The lot of it went to a higher bidder. It sux being poor. I did however find a EJ20TT with trans, wiring harness, ecu, and accessories on Ebay. Tons cheaper, too. 1,750 USD + s&h vs 5,300. Under 50K on the clock. Good Swap? Let me know.

Better, although more costly, option. B&M makes a short shifter for our legacies. You can find it at the site in my signature. Its Teagues Auto in NC. It runs $199.
